We're here to help make your trip to Croatia a memorable one!
What kind of money do I need in Croatia?
While most all expenses are covered on the tour, you may find that you want to purchase souvenirs, additional food and beverages or other activities. You’ll be happy to know that many vendors can use your bank debit card or credit card just like back at home. For those requiring cash, the Euro is the currency used in Croatia. Euros are easily obtained at local ATMs throughout the locations where we will be traveling.
Can I use my cell phone in Croatia?
Absolutely! There are a wide variety of options from using an international plan from your current provider to obtaining an “eSIM”, you can feel comfortable to know that you can stay in touch with family and friends while on this great adventure. We are happy to guide you through the best options for your needs.
Do I need some kind of power adaptor to charge my electronic devices?
Yes. You will need a simple power adapter and we will supply you with a link to an online retailer.
Is the water safe to drink there?
Of course! It’s delicious! Open up the taps and stay hydrated my friends!
What language do they speak in Croatia? Will I be able to communicate with people?
Croatian is the language that is spoken by everyone but you’ll be happy to know that around 80% of all Croats speak at least one other language and for most of those their second language of choice is English. But don’t worry, you’ll be with bilingual hosts for almost all of your trip so you’ll feel very comfortable and at ease with communicating.
I have food allergies. What am I going to be able to eat in Croatia ?
Just like our tours, our guests are all unique and we strive to make sure that everyone has a delightful experience. Just let us know prior to traveling what food sensitivities and/or allergies you have and we’ll make sure to provide you with options that will give you both the nutrition you need and the experience you deserve to make this a life lasting memory!
Is Croatia safe?
Thoroughly. In fact, Croatia is in the top 10% of the world’s most safe countries as evaluated by the Global Peace Index. Croatia was also listed this year by the World of Statistics “X” feed as the #1 safest country in all of Europe to walk at night. Again, you’ll almost always be with our group but if you want to head out on your own little adventure and treasure hunting, know that you can feel safe and secure.
